NIZHNY NOVGOROD CANCER RESEARCH CENTER (Nizhny Novgorod, Russia)

OMMA's Executive Team conducted an on-site evaluation of the proposed Nizhny Novgorod Cancer Research Center (NNCRC) to be located in Nizhny, Novgorod, Russia.  The evaluation was conducted as part of a Definitional Mission sponsored by the United States Trade and Development Agency.  NNCRC was conceptualized as encompassing a cancer clinic, a photon therapy facility, an education and research center, and a biomedical technology park.  This innovative project is a joint endeavor of private investors and the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region and is intended to serve as a catalyst for biomedical advances at the regional and federal levels.
