AMERICAN HOSPITAL IN TBILISI (Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia)

OMMA's Executive Team traveled to Tbilisi, Georgia to evaluate the proposed 120-bed American Hospital in Tbilisi (AHT). 
The evaluation was conducted as part of a Definitional Mission sponsored by the United States Trade and Development Agency.  The proposed hospital is intended to offer an international standard of healthcare not currently available in the region.  The facility
is being developed in cooperation with the AIETI Medical School in Tbilisi, an institution which is unique in that it is certified by
the World Health Organization (WHO) and offers its educational programs only in English.
